About Mila

What is Mila?

Mila is an online platform for crowd services. Technical services such as installation, commissioning or optimal use of technical devices can be booked via Mila.com.

All services are provided by certified private individuals (Mila Friends) or professional service providers (Mila Pros).

What is a Mila Friend?

Friends are vetted private individuals with technical know-how.

What is a Mila Pro?

Pros are professional service providers (registered companies) who take on more complex service requests.

How are Mila partners vetted?

Mila partners are checked by Mila upon registration. Before they can perform services for customers, a detailed document and data check is carried out for Friends and Pros.

Some services also require appropriate know-how and/or certificates. Our bespoke training platform Mila Academy provides partners with further training and certification.

Customers are asked to give their rating (1 to 5 stars) to each Mila partner. These evaluations are incorporated into the distribution algorithm and help Mila continuously improve the service experience.

Your Mila Service

How do I book a Mila service?

You can easily book a Mila Partner on Mila.com.

First enter your city or address in the search field and select the appropriate service package. Please let us know your contact details and your desired date. The Mila platform automatically searches for a Mila partner near you.

Once booking is completed you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. As soon as a Mila Friend or Pro has accepted your order, we will inform you who is assigned to your booking.


How do I cancel a service?

If you no longer need the Mila service you have booked, you can access your request via the confirmation e-mail and cancel it there. If you have not provided us with an e-mail address, please contact us by phone or e-mail so that we can cancel the service for you.

IMPORTANT: Appointments must be cancelled or postponed at least 24 hours before the start of the course. If this deadline is not met, you will be charged a cancellation fee (see Terms and Conditions). 

The Mila partner did not show up for the appointment, what can I do?

It is vital to us that all partners always show up to each service request and are on time. In rare cases when the Mila partner did not show up at the expected time please give them a call to check if they are on the way. If you cannot reach the Mila partner, please contact us. We look for another Mila partner in your area and make a new appointment as soon as possible.

The service has not been completed. Do I still have to pay?

At Mila you only pay if the service has been completed successfully, e.g. your problem has been solved or your device has been installed and configured.

With your signature you confirm that you agree with the final price, that the order has been correctly executed and that you give us permission to debit your credit card.

If a Mila partner cannot provide the service successfully, you will not be charged. Mila partner reports an unfinished service and our customer service team contacts each customer to resolve any issues.


Prices & Payments

How do I pay for Mila Services?

The total amount of the booked service packages is automatically debited from your credit card after successful service is completed.

If you have received a voucher code, you can enter it when booking.

Why do I have to sign the Mila Service order?

Upon completion of the order, the Mila partner will ask you to sign the service confirmation.

With your signature you confirm that the order has been executed correctly, that you agree to the final price and you give us permission to debit your credit card.

Is the price for Mila services negotiable?

Service from a Mila Friend

All service packages provide a recommended maximum price.

This is a recommended retail price for the selected service. The final price of the service will be set directly with your Mila Friend and may differ.


Service from a Mila Pro

The service packages for Mila Pros have a fixed price and are non-negotiable.

If the Mila Pro takes on additional tasks at your request, these will be added to the order with your consent and charged to your card.
